Wasmer
Syrus Akbari, CEO at Wasmer, asked me to design a website which presents Wasmer as a tool which makes it possible for developers to write an app in any supported code, and then deploy it to any OS, without having to write any more code in any other language — Wasmer does the work automatically so the app runs smoothly everywhere.
The only requirement was to use a dark background. This it my design of the landing page that was approved by Syrus:
I wrote the content and put together a high-fidelity mockup in Figma. I tried to create a visual style which looks smooth and slightly resembling the look of an OS like iOS, to convey instantly to visitor that Wasmer has to do with OS environment.
In the first section, I created an illustration which shows an app deployed to any selected OS instantly, without writing additional code. In the next 3 sections I tried to explain the process of deploying the app: set up, pick a template, deploy. At the end, I added a CTA and included everything else the website needs to show in the footer, so the visitor does not think there are too many sections on the page.
Syrus thought the landing page looks good, approved it and said that no more work was needed for Wasmer at the time.
